Conte's Pizza Turns 75 in 2025!!

The Conte's Pizza 75th Anniversary Party is a fundraiser for Send Hunger Packing Princeton (SHUPP) who beneifts students in the Princeton Public Schools.  We have partnered with SHUPP who provides meals for those students whose family qualifies for such assistance.  For more information, please check out their website.

Saturday, August 16, 2025 from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm.  

Please note that the rain date is the next day, Sunday, August 17, 2025 also from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm. 

The Valley Road Athletic Fields, right behind Conte's parking lot.   Conte's would like to thank the Princeton Public Schools for allowing us to use the field to celebrate this occasion and raise money for SHUPP.

Conte's will be closed that day for lunch.  However, the bar inside will be open starting at 12:00pm for drinks only. Customers may come inside to sit at the bar or tables for the purpose of ordering drinks but no food will be served or allowed inside during the party hours. Conte's will be open for business as usual that night starting at 4:00 pm.  

There is no cost to attend the event.  However, the food at the event (Conte's Pizza and other food and drink options) will be sold and a portion of those proceeds will be donated to SHUPP. 

Although Conte's has never sold just slices, we will be selling slices as it is more efficient to sell to a large number of people.  We will be selling tickets good for two slices of cheese pizza plus a bottled water for $5.  

Now, it is difficult to prepare for an unknown number of people across a 4 hour span, while at the same time ensure having enough pizza to serve a regular Saturday night at Conte's afterwards! To help us prepare for this, we are selling tickets for the pizza during the party.  Tickets will be sold  in advance at Conte's.  The tickets will be $5 each for the 2 cheese slices and water.  Please note that you do not have to buy tickets in advance but that pizza will then be subject to availability.  

Also note that the tickets will have a time slot for one of the following time slots:

• 11:30 am to 12:30 pm
• 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm
• 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm
• 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm

This will help us prepare how many pizzas will be needed at different times during the party.  Please note that we will do our best to accommodate tickets in a different time slot.  In addition, we will be selling tickets at the party that day, but the best way to help us ensure pizza for as many people as possible is to buy a ticket beforehand!  Tickets will be sold (cash only) only at Conte's Pizza leading up to the party on August 16, 2025.

GIVEN THAT WE CAN ONLY PRODUCE A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF PIZZAS DURING THAT 4 HOUR SLOT, PIZZAS WILL BE SERVED ONLY UNTIL SUPPLIES LAST! Please note that there will be other food vendors there that day in addition to our pizza.

Some parking options include:

1. Conte's parking lot.  Note some spaces will be reserved for individuals associated with the attractions

2. Available street parking

3. Public parking garage: LAZ Parking - Avalon Princeton - 100 Albert Way, Princeton NJ 08540

Please note the driveway behind the Conte's parking lot will be closed as there will be food truck vendors using the space.

First off, we are happy to announce that a fellow Princeton institution, Thomas Sweet, will be joining the festivities that day with us.  They will be selling their world famous ice cream and a portion of their proceeds will also go to SHUPP.

In addition, JAMMIN' Crepes will be joining us to sell their delicious array of crepes and savory sandwiches.

On the Valley Road Field, there is a porta potty.  Additionally, the bathrooms at Conte's Pizza will also be available for attendees.
